This feels like the start to a dirty limerick that causes you to get sent to extra church.

I wanted to draw these two good 'ol southern boys having a near literal roll in the hay since their inception! I don't even have anything witty or insightful or a meaningful process with this one. Earnestly, I was just trying to rebel against my ADHD and make myself focus on ONE drawing at ONE time and finish it to completion. This time that worked, not why can't I just ALWAYS do that?? Anyway, I like that these two both have simple faces that I can hash out quickly enough without thinking too hard, instead of more finicky specific features like Ceran or Paulie.

Threw in the sketch stage WIP for the sake of it, since for once I actually saved a copy. I have a bad habit of deleting sketch layers once I'm done with them because I want so badly to cut back on layer clutter, but then I miss out on showing my work! That said, my sketches aren't very interesting. They start off as a lot of messy scribbles until I just erase and bow out muscle lumps till it looks right. But I guess that is how art do. Eventually I get a "clean" sketch that is easier to lineart!

Creating one thing at a time is hard when there are so many ideas. I have a Trello board of story ideas that I'm just like "I WILL GET TO YOU EVENTUALLY" for that reason 😂

GOD YES, EXACTLY!!! I have these full-ass sticky notes and whole-ass documents, and now the trick is...uuuuuhh doing the things. Getting one's self to focus and finish the thing before mojo runs out on you! Hard mode: impossible.
