My body has been running me through it the past few days so it's been a nightmare trying to get anything done. I now properly understand how chronic pain can really just make a person go mad. Just days of chaotic unrelenting pain that makes no sense, no pattern, no solve, just trying to make it less cutting with no shortage of ibuprofen. BUT! I try anyway. It is all one can do.

So friends were talking about the underrated wonderfulness that is "implied sex" or "implied lewd." Ceran's height / general bigness usually means EVERYTHING is some kind of size difference pairing. There's some GREAT pieces that capture this energy circulating out there....and yet? Deceptively hard to draw. It's like, how do I sort out how the legs should stand and balance sensibly, without mapping out the whole frame? But then I get caught up trying to perfectly draw a body frame that won't even be viewable in the final image. I also have this habit where it's hard for me to decide everything I want in an image, what a PIECE NEEDS, by the sketch alone. I usually can't suss it out until there's more color and shadow to sort what vacancy would look better filled. It all ends up being so much more time consuming than one may realize.

Almost called it quits as I carved away at attempting this the past few days, but I hate wasting work/time. I wanted to make myself persevere and try to polish this particular turd despite my frustrations at my failure to nail it in one go. Sometimes you just have to try something new, and sometimes it doesn't go super well, but at least you did it! You were still growing and learning, even if that's hard to realize at the time.
