On Weekend Wankshop 190, Uncle Ben here is gonna take you all on a metal odyssey through Synyster Gates' solo on Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold! And i'm going to be showing you all the RIGHT way ti play it, i haven't seen any accurate lessons here on youtube at all! Especially when it comes to the sweep picking and economy picking lines in here, which are really tricky. This solo is cool, its got some neat gypsy jazz arpeggio ideas in it, some whammy bar tricks, some sexy slides, all the good stuff. Its not easy, so take your time with it! Playing my Suhr Modern White Tiger with Aldrich pickups through my Kemper Profiler, using a JCM800 as usual. There's a lot more A7X solos i should cover, right? Let me know what i should do next!
