Yngwie uses these kinds of ascending one string licks all over his playing... they sound great, are easy to alternate pick, and work really well to connect scale patterns in different areas of the fretboard. I'm playing a glorious Aristides 060 model with the Seymour Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge and Jazz in the neck. This guitar is fantastic!!!! Really, really digging it. The fretwork is amazing. the neck on this thing is dead straight with zero dead spots or choked notes... amazing. They really put some time and research into building these things.
