Hey Ben, this is great stuff! I really enjoy seeing your perspective on technique challenges. I seem to favour downward escape picking, but really struggle with the opposite motion that works best for even numbers. My question is should I keep persevering with building up my upward escape skill in the hope that it will improve, or should I just stick with what feels easiest? I feel as though I am doing something very wrong with my upward escape picking, as it it miles behind in speed and control. Thanks again for the great lesson!
