I'm at the NAMM 2016 show right now, so this video was filmed in advance for your enjoyment. And oh how you will enjoy it. I've devoted this lesson to teaching you how to play the scalding main lick to Scuttle Buttin' by the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan! This is an absolute beast. I've always loved this tune (especially the live versions!) but had never learned how it was actually played.... until now! Lots of tabs and lessons i see have you using tons of bends in this lick, and thats just not the case. Watch any version of SRV playing this, and you'll definitely see his left hand sliding around all over the first couple frets. Its ridiculously hard to play at tempo. I wish you luck, i burned a hole in my middle fingertip learning this thing!!! Playing my Ibanez RG470 with Dimarzio pickups into my Kemper Profiler.
