Man, especially for some weeks (I follow you since years!), you're really tidying up my playing issues like no other! Yeah, the "narrower string spacing for 2 years vs. 18 years"-guy again... I always thought about the direction of the pick stroke when changing strings conciously back then. But this faded away over the years, but now it comes into play big time again! I lost sight and ended up with missing pick strokes, when changing strings. Which is a MASSIVE problem, when you get a new axe with narrower string spacing. I tend(ed) to overshoot the string changes by far and bang(ed) into the wrong/further string. I thought, this was kind of a "luxury problem", since I "just need to think about going less far than I think". Well... If it was that easy, I wouldn't write all those comments. Man... once, something is engraved into your brain for 18 years, it's even seems impossible playing slowly at first! It just wasn't gonna happen! Recently, I seem to get over it finally! Thanks to YOUR alternate picking excercises! I could come up with this stuff myself, but why?! I really like to watch you doing stuff (playing along) and eventually, it seems to fix the problems.
