Hello lovely and loyal patrons!!! Hope everybody is having a good weekend so far. Here's ya a new project, a total riff-by-riff breakdown of the new Gojira single "Born for One Thing"!!! I LOVE THIS SONG! That band really just hasn't released a bad album as far as i'm concerned. INCREDIBLE live band, too, first time i saw them was on an early US tour, alongside Burst, who was playing their final US tour ever. It was in a tiny place with low ceilings here in Knoxville (the Cider House for you locals), and they were so tight that i could have sworn the sound guy was dropping the faders on the board like crazy to make the stops as tight as they were (he wasn't! I checked)!!!! Also the first time i ever heard an EVH 5150 3 in person.

Anyway, i had a lot of fun making this lesson, especially on the parts that deal with the rhythmic trickery of the intro. I've been getting comments from people saying that the Youtube gods frowned upon me an decided to NOT put this new video into their notifications, so thats lame, but i hope that you all enjoy it!!!
