Hey guys!!! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and healthy out there!

So i had an idea for a video series on my channel the other day while talking with my buddy Ryan Bruce (aka Fluff)... You all have seen his Rate or Roast My Rig videos, right? Basically a viewer sends in their guitar setup, and he critiques it and gives them tips on ways to improve it. While i'm not that much of a gear guy, i DO think i could do something similar, only with helping YOU dial in your playing!

What i'm thinking is a series where i review videos that people (preferably my lovely and loyal patrons, i wanna give you guys even more!) send me of themselves playing something they're working on, whether that be a cover of someone else's riffs/solo, or even an original piece or exercise; i review/react to the video, then start breaking down tips on how they could improve it, whether that be a picking strategy, transcription improvement, technical critique, tone tips, exercises they could do to improve, whatever! I think it would be a really fun way to help people get better, and give me a great platform to interact more with my viewers!

What do you all think??? And if you like the idea, let me know if you can think up a good way to organize this... obviously i won't be able to make a video for every single person that sends me something for review, so i would need a good way to pick and choose what gets featured in a fair way. Random draw from a hat? Special Patreon tier? Consult Miss Cleo and see what the tarot advises?!?! Hahaha just let me know what you think a good workflow here would be, and also what a good title for this series could be!!! Its gotta be something fun that POPS. Uncle Ben's Wild Advice? Uncle Ben's Shred Shack? HELP ME SHRED, UNCLE BEN?! Like i said, i JUST had this idea and need help fleshing it out, so please drop your thoughts below! Cheers everyone!

Call it Uncle Ben's Home Remedies for Shred. Anyways, i think it would be really cool to see how you analyze someone's playing, whether it be technique, gear, ideas to add to it, etc. Maybe pick a video and have a different approach for each video, like one video one week will be a solo and you can transcribe and give picking strategy, and then another video may be a chord progression where you explain the theory and give a rhythm lesson. That kind of thing. Different approaches for each video, whether it be picking, theory, rhythm, transcribing, so that it fits the particular video you chose.
