Hey Uncle Ben! Can you show us an exercise on how to switch up and down the pace of our lead work? I often find myself staying in a single pace but then I look at a real good player who mixes it up and inserts so many variations of numbers of notes or hammer ons or sweeps which catches the lister by surprise and gets his attention.

Hey Ben, I know this is an old post, but was wondering if you think this exercise is played better starting on an upstroke and then just alternate picking the entire thing through (except for the hammer ons of course). Feels way nicer to me, and logically makes sense if you think of it as playing the descending lick "upside down"? Thanks for all the content!
