Akahiko Takedera (Patreon)

We received some extremely disappointing news today. The artist we had commissioned to develop/illustrate the Black Powder Red Earth manga, the legendary Akahiko Takedera(Akira, Sultan Defense Corps, Neo Devilman) has been forced to step aside from the project as his arthritis has become so severe he can no longer continue work on the project.

We have begun interviewing new artists to resume work on the project. This is a rather large blow as Mr Takedera was intended to be the character designer of the BPRE Awbari animated mini-series and we saw him as an integral part of our new projects.

We appreciate your patience as we begin searching for a new artist.
