We're also one week out from the Black Powder Red Earth 28mm presentation at the Connections War Gaming Conference. Hosted by the US Army War College, game designers Jon Chang and Michael Durao will be presenting "The Fundamentals of Close Combat Abstraction" on Thursday, June 27 at 1410 EST.

This presentation speaks to the high level considerations and practical experiences that informed so many of the design team's decisions in the years of development that led up to the "eureka" moment where our system finally clicked.

Both JC and Michael will be running demos and answering questions directly after the event. Additionally, JC will be running demos on Tuesday, June 25 at the Dicebreaker event and again on Wednesday, June 26 during the Open Play Game Night.

The War College is recording the presentation for their archives, however, we are not clear if they will be streaming to the world. If the event is not available, we will stream the presentation again in a YouTube live for your enjoyment the following week.
