Here's a big one!! MY ALIEN REACTION, omg I still have heart palpitations! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE TRIP, A REVOLTING TRIP IN SOME PARTS! I DO LOVE THAT ENDING THO BECAUSE REASONS! ;D

Anyway, tell me what you think! How did this movie make you feel? Because I never want to go to space lol

You mentioned watching the sequels. Most will agree that the second is better than the first on every level, but the rest aren't even remotely as good as the first two. Wouldn't recommend going past the second film.

I disagree entirely with Eric, the second is not as good as the first - for a number of reasons which I won't get into until/if the second one is viewed.

Aliens has plenty of fans but it certainly isn't true that "most will agree" that it is better than the first. It's a totally different style of movie. Some people prefer horror/suspense over action.

Assembly Cut t for Alien 3, and the Special Edition of Alien Resurrection. And definitely DO watch Predator, and Predator 2.

49:00 I envision this ship being like a tug-boat. It's not exactly top of the line. Which also applies to most of the crew, with the exception of Ripley. In the backstory I have created for her in my mind, she was an officer on a top of the line vessel and told a ranking officer what she thought... got demoted, and found herself on this long hauler. That's probably nowhere near the truth, but it's what I like to imagine.

Aliens: Bezos vs. Xenomorphs needs to be a thing in the near future.

Sigourney Weaver's performance in the sequel earned her a best actress nomination at the Academy Awards. That alone makes Aliens a must-see. And I echo other commenters in recommending the special edition over the theatrical cut. It is a far, FAR richer and rewarding experience.

Sigourney Weaver only got paid 35 thousand for doing this movie, then she got 1 Million and part of the profits for doing 2 shows how popular this movie was an how good her performance was, because thats one hell of a pay raise lol

Aliens is a must and you're probably going to get tired of everyone telling you to watch it. But you'll get the iconic 80s Ripley that you've probably seen and heard about before. Plus she's a serious bad ass.
