This shit is exactly why I sold off my Magic Square bots and am now officially Newage exclusive. Especially after watching the SDS this week, what you brought up about Legends and sophistication has been ringing with me, and it's the fact that when I look at my Legends, I don't see sophisticated, I see fun. Magic Square has always felt to me like the mini-Masterpieces, and that's exactly what I think kills Legends. Their sophistication is in my opinion, an awful one to downsize into a format like this. Meanwhile Newage to me still has the fun in it. I've honestly never had any sort of frustration with a Newage product than what i've had with either an MP or a Magic Square Legends.

Unfortunate that this one that you reviewed was a mess. Mine has been mostly enjoyable. My biggest gripe with the set is how fiddly swindle as a whole was. Hated his transformation process entirely between all modes. I did hear that almost all of the blast offs had extra flash in the combiner slot that has to be trimmed away before combining.
