 Maybe you should examine the screwdriver.

You pick up the screwdriver and open it again.

Inside you find 4 different heads and a small flashlight. With a clear mind, you properly work the screw out; it’s a simple machine screw with a flat, blue tip, the hole itself doesn’t seem to contain anything, and nothing else seems to change. Looking further, the flashlight seems to contain a hole on the end of it that would fit the screw, but no other features. Throwing caution to the wind you screw it in, and the flashlight turns on! It’s barely visible in the illuminated room, but you feel confident this can be used on the paper

Using your clothes, you make a makeshift darkroom and examine the paper. The dot reveals symbols and numbers around it, similar to that on the key.

“A+? Is this supposed to be some kind of test paper?”

Yam: “Yes, and the person who took it is a genius! they passed with flying colors!”

Yuca: “W-wow you think I’m a genius Yam!? I just got back and I’m already going to cry!”

Yam: “This test paper is a labor of love, hold it close! Answered and graded in our heated love juices it shows my bond and respect for Yuca! To crumple it up and throw it away would be an offense I cannot tolerate!” 


Yams impassioned speech generates a lewd mental image, however-

“Love juices!? No, it’s not! I sniffed it, it's odorless, you’re just being obscene!”

Yam: “ Hm. I suppose deception like that would not work against your nose, however, you do seem quite flustered regardless, I wonder what popped into your head...”

"I'm fairly sure you know, pervert."

Yam: “Pervert!? Still, consider this paper an important clue. The cipher itself should, obviously, be easy work for you, dogtective.”

You push aside Yam’s provocation and store the items away. For now, you don’t attempt to decipher the paper, unsure it would do you any good for the time being. With very few tasks left on the table, you decide to...
