Barbarous Chapter 2 book progress! (Patreon)

Hey guys! We've been putting the book together, so I wanted to share some progress with you since it's fun to look at.

Barbarous is the first series where I was really rigorous about setting up my templating. The closest thing we've had to a previous series was the old paperback Johnny Wander autobio volumes– but I was a less experienced designer then and didn't know how to plan ahead properly. This time, I was able to duplicate the .indd for the first book, clear it out, and quickly jump into book 2. A lot of the basic design was already done, leaving me time to focus on design that's unique to this particular book.

One of the fun things we get to do for these books is adding interstitials to play with the flow of time. We did it in the Barbarous CH1 book and we got to do some fun new stuff here. The file name above is "instastitial"... because the images turned into this:
