Raptor was investigating the genitalia of male monsters. The more dangerous and powerful the monster under investigation, the more thrilling and horny it was.

Espinas' genitalia were lined with thorns, just like their outer outlines, which, in light of existing knowledge, were supposed to make them harder to pull out during mating and to stimulate the female's inside to ovulate.

As Raptor used his whole body to recreate the mating stimulus, Espinas could not hold back and ejaculated. From the looks of it, his semen is very viscous.
