[Skeb] Everyday life of a very common couple (Patreon)

This time the theme was the daily life of a couple of boars.

While their two children are at school, the wife invites the husband back from his fireman's duty to have some fun for the first time in a long time. And the husband accepts the invitation with great enthusiasm.

As you can see on the client's page, they have a well-developed setting and family structure, and I made an effort to somehow incorporate that setting into the piece.

My husband is a firefighter by profession and has two small children. And everyone in the family is a good friend. Along with the main activity of the couple, I placed information about the family in a casual manner. You can read those information from the children's drawings and family photos.

I also like the way the children's drawings and photos are revealed in the last frame, because it is like a visual expression. I think that the work became a kind of work in which you gradually come to understand them without any explanation.

One of the challenges was that until the very end, I was not sure whether to use the lines or the paintings as the main subject matter. Normally, one should be understated in order to make the main one stand out, but in this case, I emphasized both, and I feel that I got the balance wrong.

I realized once again that hesitation is a factor that stretches out the production time.

I also realized that I still lacked knowledge about the intensity of light and shadow, and how light changes depending on the weather, time of day, and season.

In the end, there were parts I liked and parts I needed to work on, so I can say that this work was a learning experience for me.
