This time, as a practice of what I have learned before, I painted almost exclusively in normal layers. You are right that it is easier to use the layer mode, but this way the colors and light are more varied and look more natural.

Also, this method requires knowledge of light and color. This is true even when using the layer mode, but since all the adjustments are done manually, I am more aware of them than usual. This is good training and I like it because it is simple to do.
