A sketch that I left un-posted. Finally got around to drawing the Charizard skin for Cinderace.

I know it's selfish of me, but I hope they are childhood friends.

When they were kids, Charizard and Cinderace used to laugh at each other about their dreams of becoming a pirate, Charizard a navy man and Cinderace a pirate.

“If they did, they would be rivals.”

They both went on to their dreams with youth and passion in their hearts. Cinderace became the jovial and cunning pirate that no one could catch, and Charizard became the only specialist in the Navy who could track her down. The chase became a nautical classic, with Charizard just barely catching up to Cinderace, but missing her by a single step each time.

Whenever Charizard succeeds in capturing Cinderace, he tells her that she should learn from this and quit piracy, but she, in her pursuit of romance, has no intention of doing so. This is another routine exchange.

But when they are alone and look at each other like this, they are aware once again that they have matured. I had no awareness of this when I was a child, but now I suddenly become aware of the other as the opposite sex.

"Hey, do you want to play with me for the first time in a while?" In the current atmosphere, Charizard half-understood the meaning and gulped down his spit.

I like the way Cinderace wears her boots in this skin. It's the fact that he usually wears them that makes them so attractive when he takes them off.
