I'll post it here as well, since it doesn't show up in the highest quality on other sites.

I started this painting with a mere doodle, but the coarse brushstrokes give it a very atmospheric quality. And I really like the murky eyes that seem to have lost their sanity. In real life, there was a monkey who held his dead child in his arms for over a month. It looks crazy when a Pokémon or human being with some sense of reason acts like that. The parent's hair has been bleached by the great shock, turning red where it was black and white where it was red. The unkempt, random hair growth reminds me of Hisuian Zoroark.

Maybe I like dark type pokemon with sad stories.
