Hi, I've been getting questions about my original story, OTW, so I'd like to share a summary of it here.

Q. I just remembered seeing the idea of Buck being tied to the Upside Down. Don’t know if you’re going with something similar from Stranger Things or something of your making, or if it’s canon for your characters, but honestly? It’s real cool to see something more than the “Created as a man made Arceus.”

A. Thank you, there is no official name for the world behind in OTW, so I use the term "Upside down" for convenience. I've only come across the term in Stranger Things, and I wasn't sure if it was used for other, or if it was just a name for that work.

I would like to explore BUCK's past and other characters in the future.

The world behind the OTW was called by different names, such as "hell", "witch's dwelling", or "demon forest", depending on the lore, religion, or time period.

It has no fixed existence or place, and embodies within them the spirit of those who have darkness in their hearts. Sometimes the places and people related to them appear inexplicably, and other times there are deformed monsters that project their madness. (For example, in White Fang, there is her as Orcus, separate and independent from her.)

That world is covered with chaos and absurdity, as there is no such thing as a constant standard from the level of physical laws. Everything that exists outside of the world behind the scenes does not work here.

Q. I'm a bit curious on how you got the idea for White Fang?

A. As the name suggests, the general structure of White Fang's past is modeled after the novel White Fang by Jack London. The rest of the story is filled with various elements that I wanted to include, and is now in its current form. I like the tragic background of Absol, and I wanted to emphasize that aspect of the story. On the other hand, I had a surplus of character images of a person who takes pleasure in inflicting pain and despair on others and does the most brutal things I could think of, so I incorporated that into her as well. This led to an interesting chemical reaction. White Fang is a tragic character with a tragic upbringing and still suffering from guilt and PTSD, but on the other hand, her actions in the past were never forgivable and created too much misery for her victims, dead or alive. I was able to create a complex character that is difficult to only sympathize with.

She is a character that represents the entire OTW. The OTW's characters are not separated by good and evil or consistency, but rather by a conglomeration of conflicting and contradictory elements.
