The power of digital brushes is so great that you can draw the texture of wood with just your senses!
I should absorb more techniques from character designers and storyboard artists like those involved with Marvel and Disney. They are masters of vision, and what looks like a crude touch up close becomes perfect art at a distance. That's the touch I love.
