Yall don't seem to understand. I would be VERY ok with these being twice as long. If you guys wanna go on behind the scenes discussions equal in length to the episode for outros, go right ahead. It is thoroughly entertaining to listen to.

The person who commented before is right. We've already seen DBZA. We're here for your commentary on it. Make these things as long as you want, and don't worry about how long the video is. These commentaries are why I became a Patron in the first place.

Wasn't expecting Lani to stare DIRECTLY INTO OUR SOULS. XD Great video though!

Yajirobe's & Korin's relationship is one of my favorite parts of DBZA. So queer and wholesome 🥰

Echoing the others above: we can watch the episodes elsewhere on YouTube (and if we're here, we have). The commentary though is so much fun. If these videos were just 45 minutes of you guys talking with no episode behind it, (a) we'd probably know what moments you were referring to anyway; and (b) we'd still love these videos.

As others have said, I pay my blood money and watch these for your interactions. I can go watch DBZ on YouTube whenever but the inside commentary, jokes and undeserved cringe are the reason we stick around.

Was the LSD thing a reference to whitest kids you know?

Alright you guys, this has been on my mind for a few years, so I'm gonna just get it off of my chest. First, I LOVE dbza, and I love your commentaries. You have brought me uncountable hours of joy and laughter. But one day, when feeling super demoralized about being "black" in America, I decided to cheer myself up with dbza, and that joke about pissing off their parents by dating a black guy hit me. Hard! In America, I can't escape being black. Nearly every day, someone points it out, sometimes negatively, and it's just not possible to feel like a regular human. Even today, in 2023, we're plagued by racially motivated cop killings of unarmed black people; innocent black people disproportionately serving prison sentences; right-wingers passing laws against educating about the atrocities of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation; grossly underfunded schools in black communities...I could go on. I've been racially profiled by law enforcement numerous times. A cop once threatened to shoot me and told me he'd get away with it because I was black (for context, I had honked my horn at a wreckless driver, and he happened to be an off-duty police officer). I've been called all manner of slurs. Scary stuff... So on that particular day, when I heard that line, it stung. I also noticed that there's really nothing positive about being black in the DBZA universe. Mr. Popo is always getting high, doing drugs, killing hookers...and there's the famous line "Holy black on a popo" -- maybe this was just an innocent coincidence. And yes, I do appreciate that Mr. Popo is secretly the most powerful character in the series, but there's still a lot of issues. Also, I too thought that the "they're dead" joke was about black people being extinct, so I'm glad you clarified this. Thank you. Again, I love you guys and never thought for a moment that you had a racist bone in your body. This is just the society we've all inherited, and it's too easy and convenient to make black people the but of jokes. All of these troupes are deeply embedded into our culture, and they're not going away any time soon. Okay, rant over. I don't know if you read any of these comments, but if you read this, thank you. And please don't misunderstand my intentions. I love your work. I'm even still a patron. It took a while, but I eventually recovered from my personal ban on dbza lol. I just needed to vent a little. And share my perspective, for what it's worth. Anyway, look forward to watching more. Take care!
