Just realized that Freeza is standing right at junk-level when Cold says "little pink princess"

Ronin Davis

To poke holes in Lani's theory. Freeza landed on Earth in Trunk's timeline to. Goku instant transmission down to fight him while his pod autopiloted down the rest of the way. Goku and Freeza's fight resulted in the destruction of his ship in Trunk's timeline. In this one after killing Freeza he blew up Freeza's ship to the same level for good measure.

Weirdly enough, I keep thinking how fun it would've been if King Cold had sticked to his word, gave the sword back to Trunks and went "neat craftsmanship" acted more like in HIFL, and left. ^^

My hypothesis on the Cyborgs being stronger would be that by the time Trunks fights them in his time, they've been slowing draining their own power over the years with countless destruction and the younger counterparts are fresh, haven't started depleting their finite resource. They aren't using natural Ki which is why they can't be sensed, Dr. Gero takes in Ki and converts it to something else with the Cyborgs didn't have access to after killing him. That's just what I've come to believe over the years. Who knows why Toriyama brought up that fact they're stronger, to make it more dramatic lol

My theory was that seeing Trunks, someone who could be as strong or stronger than Goku, made Gero nervous. As a result he double tested the androids, noticed/corrected the mental instability(which explains them being so evil in the future). Along the way got less comfortable using them(in case he lost control) and created 19 and 20(himself). Which all makes more sense if you see 17 and 18 as psychic twins whose telepathic powers are used in a perpetual motion engine which is where their infinite energy comes from(still can't believe that never got used in a spirit bomb). Gero trying to amp their psychic abilities is why they were insane on the first timeline.
