Hey guys, Ant here! It’s been a while since we’ve mentioned anything in regards to FF7MA, huh? Well that’s about to change! I’m extremely honored to announce that TeamFourStar will be releasing its first ever album: Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged – Midgar Mix !

What’s a Midgar Mix, you ask? Simple – it’s all that musical goodness you heard in FF7MA, now on an album! You liked the battle theme? We got that! You liked Shinra’s theme? We got that too! What about that bangin’ intro by TheLivingTombstone? You KNOW we have that! Of course this album would never have come to pass if it wasn’t for two key individuals: our music composer/producer AinTunez (who has done the music for all of FF7MA as well as other TFS productions) and mastering mastermind Dj CUTMAN! Now, I could go on and say my piece on them and their experiences about the album, but I think I should let them have the much deserved spotlight ;)

AinTunez: I'm AinTunez. I produced the album. When Takahata101 approached me about FF7MA in late 2014, I was skeptical as to whether I'd be able to work within the quality and time constraints that the team needed. Plus, I'd never played the game. But, I was eventually convinced, and so I set out to reproduce Uematsu's music using contemporary methods while preserving its retro tone. After months of hard work, help from other musicians, and feedback from some good friends, I'm extremely proud of how it turned out.

Dj CUTMAN: Hey there, Dj CUTMAN here! Some of you may know me through my video game music record label GameChops, or maybe you’ve caught my show at conventions. Or maybe you follow me on twitter @VideoGameDJ. Or none of those things! That’s cool too…

I’m a music producer and mastering engineer with a focus on video game and chiptune music. When TFS approached me about wanting to produce an album out of the soundtrack for FF7MA, I was super excited. Working with AinTunez to get the tracks sounding their best was an absolutely blast, and mastering music that’s from one of my all-time favorite video games was a total delight. I think we’ve put together something very special for Midgar Mix; hope you like it!

So some of you are probably wondering, “where can I get this album and when will it be available?” Well good news! You can find Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged – Midgar Mix available to purchase on April 22nd on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play!

Keep an eye out on our social media pages like facebook and twitter to hear sample tracks from the album!

Once again, thank you to all you Patrons! It’s really because of your help that this album, and even this series, was able to see the light of day. So from all of us here at TeamFourStar: thank you so much!

Thanks for reading, and keep on rockin’!
