Friends,

In addition to photos with fantastic model Amelia, I would also like to show you a glimpse into how I prepare my IG carousels a.k.a. slider posts where you can see my current workspace which is basically arrangement of panels in Photoshop.

To make it look more like Lightroom, all my tools are on the right side, which also reduces the editing time in micro scale, because you no longer have to subconsciously ask yourself where specific tool or action is located. Now everything is on the right side, so whatever you need right now will be located on the right side.

I have also deleted (unpinned) unnecessary tools which I never use to clean up the space. The less things you have to worry about, the better. It will leave more room for creativity.

The circular color wheel not only looks dope, but also somewhat looks like the real color wheel where you check color combinations: http://paletton.com/

While editing I usually keep the "pillar" photo on the left. Usually it is the first photo that I have started editing the current set. It works as a base, and as a reference for other photos in order not to wander of with editing.

Besides, it is always best to work in this order:

1. Lightroom: culling (photo selection), first adjustments, finding the right colors to set the mood, mess with the sliders

2. Photoshop: Retouch and further editing

3. Lightroom: final adjustments, cropping, export

I hope it helped you a little bit. Let me know if it helps and if you'd like to see some similar posts like that in the future covering different topics.

Stay safe and take a lot of bad photos,
Mike

Oh yeah, if you are making a carousel post, try to use different pictures. Move them around, see what fits where. Include some close ups, details, full body. Make it eye pleasing and engaging for the viewer. Sometimes I overlap photos in a way that some part of the next photo is visible while the viewer is on the previous(current) one. That may work that they might wonder what is on the other slide, what is hiding there. The more time they spend scrolling your post, the more likely it is for your post to be suggested in explore tab and other shit. That is if you don't have shadowban.

You can check that in your Settings / Account / Account Status
I am screwed there, so I don't think there's any point for me to come up with hashtags anymore. That is why I also have my own Website, Behance, Twitter, and other IG accounts where I don't post slightly dressed or undressed beautiful women.

Because "every little helps" with getting to your viewers and customers.
