Hey guys, July is almost over and it’s time to share this month’s progression.

There will be two big additions in the next version, they’re both enemies, the first is Marie. Unlike other girls, Marie is a Bonus enemy and cannot be found in a specific area, you must go through a new event first, similar to Melissa.

Second one is Hailey, a new girl exclusive to the Arena, she will replace Jasmine as the current challenger, but you can still challenge Jasmine after defeating Hailey.

That said, Hailey is currently not ready yet, but she should be present in the Live version in a few days, and consequently, at the launch of version 1.10.


In another topic, some of you seems to be having a hard time with the technique training minigame. In the next version a "pity system" will be added: Techniques with a proficiency below 10 of the tier limit (i.e.: T1 techniques with less than 30 prof; T2 with less than 50 and so on…) will always be improved by 1 point, even if your score is worse than the previous one.

You should still aim to improve in the minigame as the highest proficiencies are still locked behind the minigame score, but at least you won't feel like you wasted your gold if the improvement fails.

During development this month, HC2 file size exceeded Patreon's limit (200mb), so the files will be posted along with the .apk, in a folder with lnik attached to the release post


v1.10 release is scheduled for August 5th, I hope you guys like the new additions, and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions

How do we go back in time? ;-)

Looking forward to this update. Would it make sense, when creating a new save that will replace an existing unfinished save, to automatically add the fame earned from the overwritten game to the player's total? I think currently, if you haven't finished the run yet, that fame is lost.

Hey skook, sorry for making you wait There are two answers to your question: The first is that I'm not sure why, but I feel that the player should finish their run in order to be credited with the fame of that run, since, well, getting corrupted and defeated is kinda the whole point of the game. Another thing is that this can open up possible exploits where the player gets to a certain point and restarts a run to try to farm more Fame in a more efficient way. The second answer is that, to complement this addition, I have to find a way to detect when there's already a save file and give the player the option to overwrite it, this should be easy, but HC2 has an autosave feature and as soon as the player leaves the main menu to decide whether or not to overwrite the save, the game saves, which causes major problems. I'm sure this is an easy fix, I just haven't dug deep enough, but I'll take a second look at it.
