Mercenary to Hero (Patreon)

When Fire Emblem Heroes announced Linus to the roster addition I was happy to see Raven finally having an opponent of worthy stature for him.

...okay Linus of the Black Fang is nothing to laugh at though hahah! But Raven of Cornwell house can take him.

Started out from a casual but lined sketch (posted some time ago) and attempted colouring it until I gave up on it (you see a pattern here) and then I repicked it a few days ago while being a bit anti-social to a family new year party and finished it to a way I liked it. Rendering it in a way inspired by chapter 18 of Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword where you fight Linus. Raven being the only mercenary you can recruit and promote to hero class I always cherished the rarity of his character. That and his moody vengeful pissy boy archetype of course *shrug* So putting him against the larger man already promoted to hero felt right to me.

Anyways I digress, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed drawing it!
