Something I absolutely adore doing with my original characters is the “impossible kiss” theme. Where two characters no matter the sexual attraction or how madly in love they are with each other they will never get the benefit of a kiss. There’s something really romantic yet frustrating about the idea of forbidding the kiss. The expression of love and seduction with other actions and mannerism suddenly become more accentuated. A lot can be told in such story.
