Game progress (Patreon)

I wanted to take some time with this release to let you all know what’s been happening with development and where we are. First off… this might feel as shorter update… part of the reason is that it does have branching for several different routes (with different sexy scenes) and secondly… we have finished scripts and images that are not in this release due to the way that the Yacht navigation works.

The Yacht… well… it’s huge… we have multiple cris-crossing routes. We have 9 different characters that the MC is interacting with and we have scenes that change depending on who Christine is in a relationship with… and that’s just one of the variables. We always wanted Babysitter to be different from the norm… we wanted to give the player choice… and we did. But that choice can take a while to implement…

Next, I wanted to ease some concerns that have been directed at me recently about the future of the game:

1. Many players have been concerned that NTR content would be forced on them. It will not. That’s not something we want to do… and all the NTR in the game is avoidable… and obviously so.

2.  From the other end of the divide… many have been concerned that we are dropping our NTR content. That is also not happening. NTR will continue… (as you see this update 0.1.4) throughout the development of the game. Although the main focus is on MC/Christine relation.

3. Babysitter isn’t ending with the Yacht, but some routes might find their ending there... game itself will continue… but we are already in planning for our next game. The plan is to work on both games simultaneously for certain time to have fluent take over. There will be poll available on main page to vote for different game stories.

4. In either case I will be upgrading my rendering station (one that got hit and was fixed very quickly without taking time to do full water cooling and stuff) later this year to a machine with 4x1080tis. Preparing scene with many characters and rendering has been a bottleneck for us… and this will help to get as much out as possible.

5. Our Artist search for someone to assist with Babysitter is on hold for now. We have worked with over half a dozen different artists… and between personal crises… health issues... lighting hitting their computers... inability to meet our standards… or simply the desire to work on their own game instead… it hasn’t worked out and has cost us more time in training and getting them up to speed.
