Game development update (Patreon)

I know it’s been quite a while since our last update. The team and I have been hard at work setting up the events of the Yacht, and everything surrounding it.

It’s looking to be our most ambitious event yet. As it’s been a long time since our last Patreon update, I want to share a bit of information with all of you. The Yacht will be fully navigable, with the player able to explore different locations at different times, and it will be up to you to help (or not) Christine, Jessica, and Sonya. I won’t say more than that… but we’re all excited over here.

As for progress. The entire story is mapped out, and we have quite a lot of renders done for the update already. Because of the complexity of the scenario, there is a lot we need to get done over the coming weeks. Our goal as always is to get the entire Yacht event to you by the end of the month. Now the reason we can’t say this with certainty is that the new artist we hired did not work out. That’s also the reason that our last update was shorter than we would have liked. We wish him the best, but the quality level required and short period of time to provide output obviously didn't work out and that means that our dream of increased image output is on hold, at least until we can find someone who can mesh well with the project, but most of those who I've contacted are working on their own games.  

The yacht, and all things surrounding it was always planned to be a massive update, with notable progress on all routes. The update is intended to be a 2-in-1 update essentially. But if for whatever reason we can’t finish the entire event for the end of June we will release “Act 1” of the Yacht adventure, followed up by “Act 2” later.
