Electric Bike V2 - Google Drive

Hello all. I am trying to make the Ebike V2. A big thanks for uploading the files. But I cant seem to find the files for the 2 pulleys that attach the 2 motors together. Would anyone be able to point me towards where I can find them? Thanks!

I used a VESC (Turnigy have a cheap clone now called Turnigy 50A skateboard ESC) and a Turnigy 6374 192kv, both of which can be bought from Hobbyking.com. I've considered that, but not thought about it much as the bike I'm using doesn't have disk brakes. The only issue is the 3D printed pulley might not be strong enough. With it being cable tied to the wheel spokes, a lot of stress it taken away from the pulley 'spokes'. Whereas if it were mounted to a disk brake mount, it would require the pulley spokes to be a lot stronger. Thanks, Tom

Hey Tom, Great to be a supporter of your work. Your an inspiration. Just wondering what type of battery setup you have for your V2. I'm building my own version of your V1 and would love to post some pics once complete. Thanks Faris

Hey Faris, thanks very much for the support! In the video I was using an 8s (33.6v) 10000mah lithium polymer battery. But I'm making a new battery from lithium ion cells which will be 8s 24000mah. Thanks, Tom

Thanks a lot Tom. I currently have a 4S 10000mAh Multi-Rotor Lipo Pack. Hopefully this wont be super under powered.

It should handle the power output, but the maximum RPM of the motor will be low due to the low voltage. So the top speed of the bike will be low.

Makes sense. Thanks the explanation Tom. Hoping to upgrade once everything is put together.

hey tom, I was in love with your E-bikes ever since the first one. I am currently printing on a Prusa i3 mk2, so I can't really print the pulley as my build volume is too small. Do you offer a Version where the pieces are cut up like in the first bike pulley. If this isn't possible I am just going to make the version 1 E-bike. Keep up the amazing work. Mads

Hey Mads, yes I have an 8 piece pulley version which will fit on your printer. I'll upload it to the drive in an hour or so. Thanks!

Hi Tom, Thanks for the STL files. Any chance of you uploading the file for the pulley fitted to the rear of the BLDC (used to join the two motors together)?

If you havn't started printing i recommend editing the files to print 4 parts instead of 8.

These are awesome thanks Tom :}

Tom, I forgot about this, just remembered and I want to let you know. The 8 piece design is short on the drive path. The first and last tooth are about 1/4-1/5 short. This causes the pulley to be shorter in circumference and doesn't properly fit a HTD5 belt, which makes it a pretty useless pulley if I'm honest. It's been some time since you have worked the project, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of the design flaw.
