I know you shy away from the whole 'Top Trumps' comparison between tanks, yes yes, yes - what about training, tactics, logistics, experience, etc. But, it might make a great 5 Top Tanks Chat episode to just go full 'Top Trumps' and see what are the best from WW1, WW2 and present day purely in terms of the metrics of speed, range, firepower, and weight?

Hi, David - I do enjoy these Q&A videos - and not JUST for Finn! Quite a number of 'de-rated' aircraft engines were used in tanks, especially allied ones. Can you say anything about how exactly they were "de-rated"? I imagine that shifting to operate on normal motor fuel would be one thing; supplying 100+ octane fuel to the tanks would be somewhat troublesome, I suspect, but what else was changed?
