Thanks for the excellent presentation Stuart, thoroughly enjoyed it, very informative. Does the Tank Museum have an example of the Wombat recoilless rife? I'd enjoy seeing a similar in-depth analysis of that weapon if possible, thanks again.

My father served at the end of WW2 in the Parachute Regiment and was for a while a PIAT operator. He said it rarely if ever self cocked and to be effective you had to get so close to the target that you needed to be on first name terms with the crew. He also blamed it for a dodgy shoulder that he took to his grave 20 years ago. Truly a soldier, complained about everything till the end. A massive fan of the tank museum, which I am happy to continue in his memory. Thank you Stuart much enjoyed the presentation and the wonderful memory it has inspired.
