Hello Patrons!

I hope you’re all keeping well and enjoying your summers so far? Since I last spoke to you, The Tank Museum has held another successful Tiger Day event plus welcoming more visitors, while schools are on Summer Holidays.

As I’m sure you know, we held Tiger Day 15 at the end of July this year. It was an opportunity to work at a large scale event with about 2000 people in attendance. It is not something I have ever done before at The Musuem, and a considerable amount of planning and teamwork goes into it. It was very tiring, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and it was great to see so many passionate people enjoying the day too!

My main job was to film Tiger 131 during the main display and all the other tanks running in the arena. It was my first time seeing Tiger 131 manual start; it reminded me of one of those wind-up toys... just a little bit bigger! It was amazing to see and hear something of huge historical significance running, and when everyone started cheering, it was the best feeling to capture on film!

Apart from Tiger Day 15, we’re all continuing to work hard behind the scenes to deliver you the best content. We have lots of new things coming your way, TANKFEST is not far off either, and as for my Top 5 Tanks, we’ll have to see about that!

Thank you once again to all our Patrons for supporting the Film Internship at The Tank Museum; it is truly a fantastic place to be part of and work. I’ll update you all again soon!

Thank you,

Suzie
