An Update from Patreon Funded Film Intern Chloe (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

This month has been a busy month for the film production team at The Tank Museum! Despite working from home due to the current UK lockdown, I am still editing away to bring you content. I am currently working on producing four films and one soundscape for phase 2 of the new WW2 exhibition, which will hopefully open to the public this spring. The most challenging of these films was an aminated map depicting the allied and axis movements in the battle for Walcheren Island. This involved producing a map from scratch using the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop, animating lines in After Effects and layering on sound and archive footage in Adobe Premiere Pro. I am extremely happy with the final result, as it's one of the most complex films I've ever made!
