I was waiting for Finn to jump in a Dingo and go driving after the ball ;) On the oil draining question and sabotaging German tanks by the resistance Bruce Crompton of Combat Dealers fame bought an engine for his Panther and sent it for rebuild. Once it was stripped they found valves had been machined with a groove, no doubt by a forced or slave labour, so they would fail after a short amount of running.
