Hello Patrons,

The Tank Museum is now open to the public again, including our new WW2: War Stories exhibition! If you do get a chance to visit please stop by and watch some of the six exhibition films I have edited, as well as listening out for the soundscapes in the Burma, Normandy and Dieppe sections.

Last month I worked on TANKFEST Online, the most successful museum live streamed museum event ever! The 3 hour live stream saw contributors from some of the worlds leading Tank Museums, as well as lots of content edited by myself and Matt. It was extremely interesting to work on a live event to see how it all works. I hope you all enjoyed the show!

I am currently editing a T-55 and Panzer IV Tank Chat presented by David Willey which will be uploaded in the coming weeks. Myself and Matt have also filmed a section of a new Tank Workshop Diaries episode at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

Our Tiger Day event last weekend was also a success! The day was slightly different to normal with masks worn indoors and social distancing measures in place for the arena show, but it was really nice to get back to some normality with filming. Thank you to the Patrons who stopped for a chat during the day, it’s nice to meet some of you in person!

Chloe

Thank you, Chloe!

Chloe, I loved TANKFEST Online! I also took time out to Google all the other contributing museums, and where I could find an email form or address, I wrote to thank them for their wonderful contributions. The Austrians were especially happy to get fan mail. I don't think I'll ever be able to visit in person, so I really appreciate all the work you do. I love the photo of the three of you, on set, with you running all the equipment. I guessed that the computer monitor faced toward the two on camera is the video equivalent of a monitor speaker, so they can see what they look like, on camera. Wonderful how technology allows that, now. Stay safe, everyone.
