Hello David! It's been a while since I submitted questions (Like, four months absence now?). I would like to ask about the mechanism of the 120 mm L11 gun with its two-piece ammunition. I've heard that it could be said to be a three-piece since there is a reloadable primer device in the gun that sets off the bag propellant charges. Is this true? If so, why was the gun design in this way to have the firing mechanism like this? Also, in relation to the L11's design to use bagged charges for the propellant, has there ever been any projects in terms of varying powder loads, akin to standard modern artillery, for different ballistics for different shells? Sounds like a possible way to develop specialized rounds that may require a lighter powder load than a standard sabot round.

Does the tank Museum have TOG's other turrets? If so are there any plans to display them with TOG?
