The FV102 Striker provided long range anti-tank firepower to the British Army during theCold War. Five Swingfire missiles with a range of 4000m were carried in the launcher on the roof. The man lying down is using the combined sight and control unit which, as we can see, could be removed from the vehicle and used up to 100m away. Swingfire could also turn up to 90 degrees immediately after launch. Taken together these two features meant the crew could engage tanks from behind cover.
