A WW1 Luger Pistol has been donated to The Tank Museum by the local Wiltshire Police, handed in during a firearm surrender. An inscription in the holster, reads ‘Souvenir of the Big Advance at Cambrai November 1917’. Given the significance of the Battle of Cambrai, to The Tank Museum, this donation is of real importance to the collection.
