DEAR DIARY, AUGUST 25, 2021 (Patreon)

I made a work schedule for this stuff.  I considered all the things I'd want to get done in a month and worked backwards.  It has me working 6 hours a day, every day.

Whoops!

...well, that's not true, really.  I played it super safe with the time estimates, so there are things like 'Formatting and Uploading: 1 hour each day.'  I don't upload a thing every day, and it usually takes me 20 minutes, but getting ahead of schedule feels great, eh?

Sometimes though, I've got no idea how long things'll take me.  I've got 1 hour per day scheduled for just goofing in the character maker when actually some days I'll spend no time, and others I'll spend hours.

The plan is 1 issue of Remedial Sex-Ed every week, and then 1 Patreon exclusive comic every 2 weeks.  There'd also be approximately 1 itty bitty pin-up a week, strategically timed in between the other stuff.

Other stuff I want to work on?  I've been looking at some Koikatsu creators, and I think my lighting could be improved.  That seems like a good investment, whenever possible.  My dialogue writing needs work.  The same is true about my cinematography and also, perhaps most important, the sexy factor.  I'm thoughtfully reading other people's stuff.  Be ready for escalation in RSE.

I'd love to try more significant changes as well, such as adding panels like an actual comic, i.e. not a Powerpoint with speech bubbles.  I'm just concerned about how much that'd add to the production time.  If there were panels, the page count would definitely go down.  However, that doesn't necessarily mean a decrease in the speed of story progression and content output.  It'd just be compacted.  I'll probably try that out sometime in September.

There's gonna be a mini-overhaul to the Patreon in early September.  No benefits will be lost, some will be added, things will be reworded for the sake of clarity and brevity.  New images, perhaps?

Alright.  I gotta make 1 more chapter of RSE done for Saturday, and then Side Story 4 Part 2 prepped for release on September 1st.  Peace and love!
