Hi everybody! Happy Friday! Work week is as good as over now.

I'll start this post by offering my sincerest apologies - the next page of Changing Offices will have to be delayed. It's actually fully shaded and ready to go but Clip Studio has locked me out of my own purchased software since yesterday.

I saved up money to upgrade to their version 2.0 EX which adds just a handful of new features to the app. I didn't buy the subscription pass on top yet (it requires the base license to use the current version and subscription to get updates 2.x etc.). As soon as I upgraded my license, the app prompted/forced the update to 2.0. Little did I know, they would only sent me a receipt and not the license key to unlock the software itself so it's stuck like this:

The button to revert to version 1 does not work. I can go into a "trial mode" where half the features are gone and I can't save or export anything. I've tried redownloading the 1.0 installer but it has said my 1.0 license is expired (I guess since I bought 2.0 they killed my 1.0 license)

I have been waiting for over 24 hours for the license key email (they already took the money out of my credit card) and their support email inbox has only sent a copy-and-paste message that they received my message but are too busy to respond. How unprofessional. 🤔

Nonetheless, I am still aiming to finish the comic by the end of the month once my files are released by this hostage situation.
