More Cypress Sketching (Please let me know if you guys ever get sick of these xD) And a bit of an experiment. I was watching some Charcoal drawing vids on youtube, and I really liked the chaotic look, so I decided to see if I could get that similar charcoal feel in a digital drawing (and work on my lost edges too lol)

Let me know what you guys think!

If I ever tell you I'm tired of seeing Cypress call the police because someone has stolen my phone. (I saw the charcoal sketch without reading the post and went "Huh Cypress sure looks different here" 🤦)

In what world could we ever get sick of this ❤

It’s so nice looking at your sketches and seeing where you’ll leave more negative space, it really aids the readability of them. ALSO if you wanted some nice charcoal brushes there’s a pack by Lane Brown for procreate that is 11/10, hauntingly similar to charcoal on paper minus the powder flying everywhere

These look amazing!

I don't think I'll ever get tired of cypress so keep it coming xD, I also hope to see more human drawings from you cuz I love the style from this one and the other ones you've done. But most importantly, draw what you feel like drawing xD

I don't think people would get sick of cypress. Your drawings already give more depth or fun interactions so it's always interesting to see The charcoal drawing looks really nice! If you're going heavy on lost edges I think you could push their left side (our right) into the background more. You definitely know clear shape control, so barely suggesting they even have a left side of the face can really make the lite areas have a lot more punch. It'd also make the digital charcoal look more traditional to allow more blending in less focused areas imo

That charcoal sketch is great, and has a TON of atmosphere to it! I'd love to see more like it!
