Before listening to "The Tortured Poets Department" this weekend, is there anything major I should know about it before diving in? As much as I enjoyed Folklore sonically on my initial listen, Lord knows I was so lost thematically. With that said, please let me know what I'm getting myself into before I listen. EDIT (04/20/24): Good morning dolls, I didn't know the album was going to be a double disc with 31 full-length songs before creating this post. With that said, so our first listening session of the album will be posted next week instead.
