Confusing this isn't it? Intriguing somewhat too! At this point, I had no idea how it was going to pan out. As to the way Rory is behaving, I think she is just one very angry, angsty celestial teenager who has built up her anger, deepened it as she grew up feeling abandoned by her father, and we know how screwed up that can make someone...aka Lucifer! Also, wondering why Ella just doesn't ask outright about the celestial world...she has realised (we found out in the past in her 'voices' with Azrael) that when she told people she was treated like she was crazy so I think she will keep it close and not say too much. until she has the actual evidence. I think, she wants Amenadiel and others to show her the truth. Loving your theories too about what might really be going on. I wonder how you feel at all the final reveal.

Fun reactions - sadly nearing the end though! You might have already commented on your correct or way-off theories from this episode discussion since you have already watched the rest of season 6 and we just haven’t seen the posts yet, but I wanted to point out that when he was leaving, God said “All part of my plan.” And Lucifer asked “Just how much of this is your plan?!” And that is when God smirked as he and the Goddess walked behind the curtain. He also said choosing his successor wasn’t up to him “any more” and they would figure it out, so I would say God knew how it would end, including Charlie’s and Rory’s future actions. I might be selfish (on Chloe’s behalf), but I am a bit miffed with all the worry about Rory being abandoned when she grew up with an obviously loving Mum, big sister, and caring aunts and uncle (unlike Lucifer’s childhood and adolescence). However no one mentions that it is actually Chloe who Lucifer abandons-for whatever reason, and Rory wasn’t even born yet.
