Great reaction. Lilith was Adam 's first wife and lived with him in the garden of Eden. She was immortal. She rebelled and was thrown out of Eden, taking a stone ( so she explained) Over millennia every child She had was a Demon and she gave them to Lucifer to help him rule over hell. She gave up her immortality and breathed it into the ring which turned black. The secret Luck kept from Maze was that Lilith had done that and was alive on earth and Maze could have gone to see her and asked her questions rather than feel abandoned all her existance. That is going to hurt Maze and likely cause some problems in Lucifer and her relationship which is already strained. Expect fireworks and trouble to come! At least we know the story of the ring now.

OK 3 answers/insights re: your questions and speculations at this point. 1. All singing performed by the main characters in this episode and actually throughout the entire series-seasons 1 thru 6, is their own voices. All will sing at some point except Lauren German (Chloe), who apparently has a great voice, but won’t sing in public (officially). As to the theme and facts behind this classic film noir flashback episode - 2. Michael said he would let Maze know how to find the truth behind the secret Lucifer was keeping from her. Lucifer could not break his word to Lilith about telling her children anything regarding this situation, so Maze recruiting Trixie in this way bypassed that obstacle. 3. Lilith was Adam’s first wife according to general biblical cannon and more importantly the Lucifer program universe. She left or was thrown out of The Garden, and God took one of Adam’s ribs to create Eve as Adam’s new companion. It is not clear where Lilith came from, but she was immortal like the celestial beings and her physical form on earth would not “die”. Her ring was ONLY a keepsake with a piece of Eden until she breathed her immortality into it and gave to Lucifer - who personally didn’t need it but cherished the ring as a reminder of an old friend. Lilith only started aging from the time she became mortal and it follows she will die and go to Heaven or Hell which would be her first time in either as the Garden of Eden was on Earth which she never left. Who knows how Lilith “begat” all her children, or how she made them without souls, but she sent them all to support Lucifer in Hell as demons. All humans (and Angels) are born/created with souls - which I interpret as also possessing a conscience or sense of right and wrong, and when their physical beings die, their souls have an afterlife in Heaven or Hell.
