Okay just started the full length reaction, but the beginning already cracked me up :D "Nudity?! Uh oh, control yourself!" "And smoking, whew!" "Want me to turn it off??" Lol. You guys are hilarious. Okay, and now back to the reaction :D

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Upon Chloe telling Lucifer that she's remembered all the good she's seen in him, and that she doesn't believe he's so evil like the world believes him to be, Lucifer then asks her... "What if I am that guy?" You have to remember... as we've learned in season three's finale and in the premiere episode of this season, deep down, Lucifer believes himself to be evil. Especially after he killed Cain and actually enjoyed punishing him, which is when his Devil face returned after all this time it's been gone. Revealing that Lucifer once again has come to believe himself to be evil. This is what he fears above all else. That the way everyone in the world sees him, this priest seeking to return him to Hell sees him, and the way he fears Chloe sees him even if it's a little... is who he truly is. He already fears he is the embodiment of evil. If Chloe can't see past her own fears of who the Devil is and can't see the good in him, then it would break him. And right now, Chloe hasn't shown him that she might one day see him as anything more than just the Devil. This is why Lucifer is so broken. Why he shows her his Devil face again, having come to believe that maybe his Devil face has now become his true face instead of his real true face. Sorry, John. But I have to actually side with Steve's thoughts regarding why Lucifer doesn't deserve to be seen as the bad guy, or the jerk within this whole scene between him and Chloe inside his penthouse in the ending. Nonetheless... I hope my thoughts help you to understand why Lucifer is reacting in the way he has. Heidi

I understand that, but that's my whole point. If he wants Chloe to see the good in him then he has to give her reason to as well, like sacrificing his life for her with the axe. Just that one moment changed her mind a lot, but she shouldn't be expected to just accept everything immediately. Like I said in the video, when he asks her the question she says I don't know, give the girl some time lol. That's kind of why I said he was being a jerk. It really came down to how he approached it. - John

I most certainly understand your point too, John. And you're absolutely right that Lucifer needs to be a little more understanding and give Chloe some real time to adjust to knowing the whole Celestial truth now. Thank you both so much for another fantastic reaction for an incredible episode of Lucifer, gentlemen!! Sincerely, Heidi
