September's Questline Monthly Theme Poll (Patreon)

Each month on the 15th we'll have a poll to vote on the theme for the upcoming issue of Questline Monthly. Please read the descriptions of each theme below and vote for your favorites down below! You can choose more than one theme if you'd like and keep in mind there can only be one winner! But don't worry, if your theme doesn't win it will carry over to the next month!

The poll will end on the 20th and the winner will be declared the chosen theme!

Deforestation Theme

The Ironjour Timberlands spans the entire skyline like a great evergreen wall. Ancient 300-foot tall trees known as Ironjours form this forest of immense size, identified by its straight, tall trunk, thick reddish-brown bark, slightly drooping branches, and conical crown. The Ironjour tree has large needle leaves and produces seed cones as large as a head with the same reddish hue as the its bark. Ironjour trees are the most durable lumber in the natural world, and many believe chopping down an Ironjour tree is a direct insult to gods of nature. This belief is enough of a deterrent to keep most with greed on their mind away from the Ironjour Timberlands.

Fellsaw Logging Co. is a corporation built upon the business of felling trees, cutting, and preparing timber. This company has targeted the Ironjour Timberlands as its next logging site. They have developed special machinery equipped with massive chainsaws to fell the great Ironjours and have began setting up base camps throughout the forest. Natural forces have awoken within the Ironjour forest to oppose this threat, but the Fellsaw Logging Co. refuse to leave the timberlands empty handed.

Coliseum Theme

The Kings Coliseum attracts those with a warrior’s mindset to its gates. It is here, that those with the determination to overcome challenge and adversity will reap the rewards. Those who prove themselves in the Kings Coliseum will be granted the opportunity to face a Holder of the Crown and claim their spot as a ruler of the City of Strife.

In the City of Strife your social status is solely dependent on your ranking within the Kings Coliseum. Where those who are the strongest become Holders of the Crown and act as the governing body over the city itself. Your accomplishments within the Kings Coliseum directly determine your wealth, the respect you’re given, and your position in the caste system.

Deep Sea Theme

A vampire coven has acclimated to living in the depths of the ocean. Their skin is ghost white, nearly transparent. Their limbs have elongated and webbing has formed between their extremities.  Like most vampires they do not require air. Allowing them to remain underwater for extended periods of time. The deep sea is also void of light, providing them sanctuary from the sun’s deadly rays.

Lurking at abyssal depths between deep trenches in the ocean these vampires create spawn. Seafarers crossing the ocean at night are perfect targets. These vampires attack pirates, merchants, and travelers, attempting to sink their ship or at least throw crew members overboard. In the water these vampires can easily out maneuvers their targets and drown them. While drowning or shortly there after these vampires will drain the life force from their victims to create new vampire spawn.
